Cover.. what does it mean?

Still haven't figured out what it means! Anyone else questioning it too?

Well, I just guessed that the flower was their relationship, and it was white, but when he left, it got blood-stained from sadness and such. But, that is what I think.

In one of SM's interviews, she said she didn't have a say in the cover so it didn't have some special meaning for her...something like "it's just a pretty flower," but I think the person who did pick the cover had a special message/interpretation.

I always thought the flower was her heart. Either its bleeding, or the red is Jacob, and the white is Edward (fire and ice). Cause if you look at it, it looks like it was originally white, but the red leaked on or something. Or maybe it was both. Who knows? We could just be overanalyzing a pretty flower.

Ya, that is a good thought. Or, ya it could just be a pretty colored flower.

at any rate, it's cool to speculate.

Ya. It is always fun to see what people think of things. Some ideas can be pretty cool and even funny.

Ya, I agree about that. I did not want it to be just a pretty flower. THat would kind of ruin the whole cover. Ya, it could be, but where is the fun in that. Anyway, all of the other cover pages seemed to have good meanings to them. Well, except for the Twilight cover. I did not really get that one. But, ya, great ideas everyone.

with the Twilight cover, Stephenie said she picked it because of the "forbidden fruit" analogy. hope that helps a little.

ya, to some extent, but how is it forbidden fruit. For me "an apple a day keeps the doctor away". But is DEFINATTLY NOT true. So. I guess it could be other things. It is just how you picture it.
